Abundant along streams. Insects 5907 220 Pyrocephalus var. mexicanus 6.9x8 ♂ 5908 221 Myioides fusciilis [illegible] 4.7x6.5 ♂ I. brown, Bill dark above, pale brown below. Legs brown. Common in Willows and underbrush along streams. 5909 222 Hydrochilidon fusipes 9.6x23.9 ♀ I. dark brown. Bill and legs black This one and three others were flying over the marsh. Not common. Larvae catch an insect on the wing like a Flycatcher. 5910 223 Pipilo foxi chloronius 7.8x11.2 ♂ Drove half way to Tucson in the afternoon.
