I brown. Common in timber along
streams and valleys, not in heavy
Timber of mountains. Tiny feet.

Light brown. Stomach contained
insects and a small lizard.
Not very common. Found in low
brush along streams & valleys.
Not a cactus thrush like war.
halmeri and bendirei. Hants
for food on the ground under
the brush. Flat summers. Shy.

Ariz. Saw but two or three in
N. Mex. There are but few trees
here and scattered, and those
