Pines, Common. 5728 41 Tirus buttoni 5.2 X 5.5 ♂ Oak, brown. Scrub Oaks. Not particularly rare here and in Southern New Mexico in March April and May, in which months I also found them rather common in San Diego Co. Cal. Apparently found only in mountains. I took amit and four eggs near St. Buyard M.M. in '76. 5729 42 Picus stricklandi 8.1 X 12.3 ♂ 5730 43 Ditto 7.9 X 14.2 ♀ 5731 44 Dendroeca olivaceæ 5.7 X 9.
