Scut threw out of a hole
in a Giant Cactus and with
them was an egg apparently
chipped for hatching after
which the bird must have
died. It is very dirty but
I hardly dare wash it for
fear of its coming to pieces.

four or five of these Owls
flow out of a brush below me
Two of which I shot. On ex-
aminining the bird I found
that they were in the habit of roosting there
