The hole was on the south side and yesterday was very hot so it probably smothered. In mother hole on the other side was a nest of Myiarchus sp? containing one egg and two young just hatched. The egg is somewhat like that of Mr. cinnamens as I remember it, excepting this has some diagonal and crosswise streaks as well as those running lengthwise of the egg.
