1873.
Aug. 30. Shot one on the meadows below the house. ✓
1880.
Sept. 2. One shot passed me and alighted on a mud bar near
the mouth of Cambridge River, within a few yards of a
flock of "Peeps" which it did not seem to notice. ✓
" 9. One pursued a Solitary Sandpiper until the latter
dropped into the water, when the Hawk shot past and
alighted on a stub on the bank of the river beyond. ✓
1881.
May 16. Passed within twenty yards of a beautifull adult male
sitting on a stub on the bank of theriver. ✓
