Inordinately out of harmony,
The ordinary cry of this Eagle is almost painfully at variance with
the bird's imposing size and generally dignified bearing. It is weak
in volume and trivial in expression and consists of seven or eight
given rather quickly but at the same time haltingly and with
apparent difficulty as if the bird were choking or gasping for
breath. It cannot fitly be called a scream but is rather a
succession of snickering laughs expressing of futile derision. I
should write it thus: hi- hi- hi- hi- hi- hi- her.
