Uria lomvia. Lake Umbagog, Maine. 1900. John H. Raymond of Upton, Maine, caught a Brunnich's Dec.28. Murre alive on Lake Umbagog, December 28, 1900. It died in captivity on January 7, 1901 and was sent by Mr. Raymond the next day to William Brewster who was staying with Dr.J.G.Geh- ring at Bethel, Maine. The bird reached Mr.Brewster at Bethel frozen, January 10. It was emaciated. Mr.Brewster sent the bird to Cambridge, Mass., and I received it at the Museum, on Saturday, Jan.12.
