Black-bellied plover
Punta Raya, 15 Km N of San Clemente del Tuyu by road, Paso de Gral La Vall, Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina.
squabrola behaving territorially all along the falling tide gone here. Their territorial calls something
like that of dominicanus but lacks the falling frequency. Birds here vary from strict basic plumage all
the way to almost complete alternate. BBP eating a fiddler crab (see Arenaria interpres note)
