Dendroica coronata. Lake Umbagog. copy ③ 1898. //Clear and calm. Spent the day about camp. At 8 A.M. Sept.14. heard a Yellow-rumped Warbler singing at short,^ intervals in regular the woods behind the camp and finally saw the bird sitting on the topmost spray of a tall spruce. I think it must have been an old male but it was impossible to make out details of color and marking against the bright sky. Its song was full and finished but somewhat listless. // 78
