Confluencia, Neuquen, Argentina November 7865 Amberat. contains plant stems, vertebrate bone fragments, spider, mouse pellets, seed husks? fairly well consolidated with black shyracuum. Little odor. Length of a couple of the embedded driftlings: 4 11 Shape of pellets Consistent with Phyllotis, 6 ||| | 2 embriolent in some, 1 and 8 1 Points in others. When soaked, the water turns red/brown color, no large plant fragments incorporated in the main mass. The pellets under dissecting scope contain only fine plant material. One a more paler grain in marked up main mass. Specimen consists of one chunk broken by me into 3 pieces 7866 Amberat. Probably the most-consolidated chunk in this collection. Lots of shining black gunk cementing rat droppings. Small twigs of Austrocedrus stuck to it 7867 Well cemented chunk of amberat, Phyllotis-rigel pellets, Considerable plant fiber 7868 Amberat. Moderately consolidated pellets, considerable easily accessible plant fibers. 3 mm Frequency distribution of loose pellets at the bottom of the Nido Can: 4 1 5 |||| ||| 6 |||| ||| | 7 ||| || 8 4 9 1 78
