off at least 15 m, Heard barn only.
③ 9:00. Another adult at the East Brink Pile. The

Lost it, probably into hole, at 9:14. Back to car
at 9:40. No more seen.
5,5,+
faughts 9:40 to 10:40. Saw 3, shot 1 (all along
RR).
④ More NVG at 10:55, at 11:15 found adult (mad. size)
at East Brink Pile. Watched him until 11:34, feeding,
when he went down hole (marked it with birds).
Returned to car 11:50.
⑤ NVG 4:20, at 4:30 located an adult near ±1 in
⑥ juniper. It moved down hole and out again, was
approached several times (½ m) by a second owl, at
5:02 I probably scared it down a hole. I think they
both entered the same hole at least once.
⑦ Brookston at 5:25 saw one (adult) at south side
of Brink Pit but lost him promptly. Back to car
at 5:47. Harned and ran on fence, then to phone
pole along RR.
faughts to 6:10. Saw some two along RR.
Confirms that they are site-specific.
