Pearson 1987 42 The valley has been almost ungrazed for 10 or more years. Lots of fairly big chesey along the bottom (stream) and willows, large polo picchia in full bloom, no rosa mosqueta, little cola de pichi, considerable calletia, some acacia, lush brushgrass, Berberis x California quail calling all around; heard no tamarisk. Four condor roosts on the cliff above the puesto, Anita put out 21 MS, 21 Sherman, 7 cubes, and 5 steel traps in lush bushes/steep/boulders, I took photos. Mar. 19 Night clear, calm, light frost. Stopped for lunch on a bare rocky hilltop among cypress with a view for miles. Saw a dozen horses, a couple of black cows, a couple of groups of quanacos totaling maybe 15 beasts, and two groups of red deer, one of 11 and one of 6. Sunny, no wind. Lots of terriers; they call "toot-toot". Anita put out 25 more MS and 3 more steel traps. Mar. 20 Night clear, light frost. Anita's traps caught 1 crepuscope, 88 abdren longjilie, 1 big green matured lizard, and 1 gidgee. Arturo Hollander came to pick us up at 11, then back to Barebols where picked Christo, Chris (of Bwenn Brewer) and Adrian came to call and
