Mexican nights, then set Trofe 1 hr 51 Puerto Pinto morena, or 9 km W Barbados. Habitat is very similar to the Hopedrow at 12 km West: scattered scrubby mimosa, berberis, retamo, acacia, meso, and a lawmat plant, rosa, and zanthia. Sandy soil. I put 27 Sherman and 24 MS at 4 pm and Santa 20 of each, plus 1 steel trap in an inactive Casa Curan. at 6 pm we had 1 abandon trap and 1 also olivaceae. Drizzle. mar 7 Barbados. Drizzle. My 51 trap bed | Aulico, 6 longi, 4 olivaceae, and 3 Oryzomys. Santa in 41 traps had 7 Oryzomys, 5 also longi, and 1 aulicomp. 27 mice in 92 traps. None of the females visibly pregnant except 1 aulicomp. Evening gathering at Christie's house to discuss formation of a conservation/ecology "Foundation" to serve as a magnet for research funds. Present were Tarah, Christie, Rapoport, Chelobar, Bellah, Carlos Martin, Monica Mermoz, Marcello Canevari, and an [illegible]? Epiphel? Good loud session.
