37 Bastadolphis to Reigx Oct 31 Baridos, Male bamboo grafted at 7pm set 29 Sherone in the marsh, 10am W Baridos for Aba olivaceus. Lots of good thick cover of coarse marsh grass and scattered Baccharis bushes. This is the marsh just beyond the fence lot El Casas. Nov. 1 Morning drizzly. Troph held X Aba olivaceus and 3 Aba longifolia. Nov. 2 assorted people came to see the 2 Bastadolphis: Arturo Tarab, Carlos Martin, Monica Mermoy, Carenzi Claudio Cholcelar, and Adrian Marquez. In the afternoon took them down to a television/video store where the owner ridiced the larger of the two killing a 20-g Abodon olivaceus. Then sent them Call off to Oswaldo Rieg's lab via Dr. Rodolfo Peredo on the place. Nov. 3 Drove to Rio Castano Otero and camped at the usual place. Put out 12 cage traps for Geckos and then measured bamboo. Baccharis linearifolia and B. darinii are quite showy, the former more orange than I had remembered, more orangepred than darinii, B. percei, B ? parodii, and the littlepting one are blooming also. One small shrub had 4 spp. No blooming bamboo seen. A few sprinkles of r rain but weather warm. Nov. 4 Troph held 4 Aba longifolia adults x measured bamboo. Picked up troph at 3pm, and hod
