36 Many steps along the way to look for two burrows that might contain Septodelfis or Notiomys. Drine pig sign in some places, Rattleron droppings at almost all, but almost no active two signs. Arrived at campsite at 6 p.m. and put out 21 steel traps and 5 cube traps (coated with Pate), all at good two-mole burrows, although no new two activity. Evening clear, calm. Oct 26 Night very clear, no wind, light frost. Traps hold nothing. Broke camp, tire repair for Joe Munnig then home. DOR only 2 fresh hare, 1 picki armadillo, and one very pale, almost straw colored shrew. Hour to Barilobo 6 p.m. Fed liver Eligmodonta to the two captives Septodelfis x la species account. Phryatura Oct 27 Barilobo. Michel Christo brought his legarde from different rocky places showing spectacular color variation (but considered within each locality). Photod Septodelfin x Teno, mild, sunny. Oct 28 all day with Adrian Monge and his thesis. Dinner with Patricia Fierro and Jorge Vallerini. Weather mild and sunny. Oct 29 Same with Hilda Ramboll. Sunny + mild, no wind. Photod Septodelfis again. Oct 30 To Pao Pao to measure Samler.
