Camped on the gas pipeline between Cerro Sever and San Ramón Vieja. Very diverse steppe with a mix of darazgillo, menor, Senecio, Acaena, another Senecio, Rosa, thin-leaved Baccharis, and burschagon - almost equal numbers of each. Cerro Sever may 10 Heard barn owls. Flashlighted a half-hour along dirt road through steppe/brush. Saw one Reithro but couldn't locate him again later or before dawn, Partiops at daybreak. Windy on hill. No ice or frost, but still snow in shady places - shady slopes and between bunchgrasses. Took photos of Eunomopha.
