caterpillar eat. As you get higher to the rocky shaley part Palafridi comes in, up to 2 m tall. The slope to the north, across the road, is more greasy, and there are maytens in the moist parts and some turf. Very few pellets in the cruxice and these mostly old. Saw no owls. Pushed all pellets, April 19 Cero Sorne. Night mild, mostly overcast, a four-spindle before dawn (dawn at 8 a.m.), heard a faint barn owl at dusk last night, jack-lighted with night vision goggles at 9:30 and 2:00 but saw nothing except 1 bat. Trapline along bottom of cliff in serre and polo/pichu (17 Shermana and 12 M 3) had 1 yg adults Physetis (released) and 1 spring empty, other not touched. Sour line had 1 Euphrasia (under small-leaved "radal" bush with blue berries), 2 above fatherbume, and 1 Elequiodonta. The Elequa ad [illegible] were in M 3. Note no who longi, Other mammals known to be at this site are viscacha (Socigluius), Ctenomys, Tepers, Conopata, a spotted wildcat, and Eunectes [illegible] and Ondulatoma. Mice scarce, no morder owls not active. April 20 Baridobo Bay. Mild. Visited the Fundacion Bareboco and talked with Maria, the girl studying rosa mosqueta, and Veronica, the girl studying lenga.
