frequently taller than previous canes. Tip of the
marked first-year cane on clump D1 had basal
diameters of 24.7, 22.5, 26.1, 21.3, 21.6, 26.0 mm.

and collecting on left side of road. Tagged & collected
early easily-accessible clump. Numbers 85-A to
85-Z and 85-AA to ± 85-FF. 85-Z in under a culvert,
and others ends under another culvert. Seaces were
frozen in refig in apartment, others in styrofoam
cot to BA, then driven to Obinda on may 22-23.
