Barlebo
May 18. 1/2 inch of snow, Partly cloudy. Daniel came with
a manuscript on the bird species of Estoril, Porto
Morneo, Much talk at talk.
May 19. Barlebo. Drizzle or rain all day, Adrian came by.
He had run the traps at Cauador Bento one more
night. Total score was: 7 Aloisius (all in the 1 ha
mallin enclosure); 5 Sulicca (ditto, 1 baby seen but
in well), 4 Phantus (2 on grid, one in first trap A1 but
to the 4th trap in); 7 Eligens (2 on the stiffer part of
the grid); 1 Reithra up in the stuffbox. It had
secured Friday night (17th/18th).
Visited Bollepine. Global has a fraud bubble, Grey in
Europe. She has no confidence in the "recent" Barlow
report by the 4.
May 20 Barlebo. Mostly cloudy, some drizzle. Christie
brought in a superb summary of the climate, geology,
and botany of the area; Thomasson, K. 1959. Valued
Huspi. Planton of some lobes in an Argentine
National Park with notes on terrestrial vegetation.
