Adrian quotes a 90-yrs-old lady forester saying that this whole area used to be covered with noble trees, a small thorny tree with seed/barries, but that they were all harvested for firewood. There seem to be a few scattered ones left here at Gairaden Bonte, plus a few dense patches of barberry. Have seen hare numerous old Rhea dropping (poor or never reads), but no Rhea, and no huancacos. Found shunda shund. On the afternoon chase of the grid, found 2 choloquies, total repeats of 10m, and 1 new who followed in the steppes. Nothing in my steppes line. Walked up the valley to the rocks. Rich Stillingia. 36 Adrian + Talbert put 40 Bhamore in Stillingia etc in a line with concentration around dense clumps of trees. Evening clear. may 17 morning clear, time fine, soon clouded up. My line in steppes had 18 15g who pantha and 2 Eligino (22g parous q, 22.5g 8). Their line of 36 traffics had about 3 Eligino and 2 pantho x. The grid had an Eligino and pantha in the steppes, plus reception of longi and Andriarange in the smaller plus maybe 2 new longis. Left at 1:30, leaving Adrian, driving fly.
