Adam Haydell came by with some cave boxes for identification. Caves along the Rio Guinay (Arroyo Carroll and confluencia across to Guinay) and Gas Bayaa. Carroll + Confluencia had Eumeauna, a Cholemya, some tucos, Sertedelphus. Dermal bones of maybodon from Arroyo Carroll.
may 15. Barilelo mostly cloudy, very windy (75 km). Left At 10 for Pilsingen with Adam Morijian and Felipe Valverde. Set out a grid in the mollen at Canadon Bonito, partly in the lower exposure and partly in Stoppes on the north side of the exposure. The marsh vegetation not at all green. Also set 15 cage traps baited with sardines on Barclay Knoll at Canadon Bonito and 30 Sherman's in a line along the slope south of the exposure. This slope is much lusher, more rich than the north slope. The south side has lots of Stillingia, Odosinia.
at 2 to 6 Pm put out a grid 11 x 16 with 10-m spacing = 176 Sherman's. Approx 5/8 in the grassy mollen exposure and the rest on the north slope. Felipe ad Adam set the traps quite before dark. I put 15 cage traps baited with sardines on the really level. Raining + windy by 6; moved to evening.
may 16 Night cleared up and wind dropped. Morning sunny. Total catch on grid: 2 also 4 north in the mollen and 1 outside, 5 longipelia and 1 dulissiumys. My sardine cage
