2 lines) at 9:00 had 1 Culico, 3 abo longi, and 1 Battus,
nearest hut about 4 km. I wonder if Battus and
Battus might not become the greatest beneficiaries
of a bamboo seeding?
Day sunny but cool, returned to Barilab at 4 p.m.
The Paso Pompline bamboo seems to have as many scattered
flowering plants as I have seen anywhere, but speed more

may 5 Sunny in AM but mostly cloudy by noon, yellow
sockets, still coming to shuck on the balcony. Drove
up to Colalao to photo bamboo. Found no more seeds
may 6 Barilab. Clear, calm, heavy frost. Cecilia Dirigente is

Adrian Monjean came by bringing Jose Garrido,
who has been studying quinones at the Centro Nacional
