Pearson 1985 12 April 30 Baribo. Day clear all day, light frost. Went out to INTA in the morning. Fairies Bellota working on foxes, Sayo Pilcaninger. Campo Anapo caught their first red bat (culpalus) recently. Gray bat range seems to be about same as Calompa. Rabbit (oryctolagus) had advanced with to about aluminé. fulvetta was just loch from BA, never + adrian also present, at 2 pm drove to SeVeranade. The gorgeous mire + lenga slow. 14 days ago are now mostly brown. Set 8 Batibo trofa at open, gravel holes in gravel at the horse ponds. No Batibo droppings seen, lots of two diggings. Heard orotuco alert 5 pm (Tue - m - tue). Every calm, clear, cold, May 1 Heavy frost. Calor, clear, nothing on trofa. Water fying (outado) half frozen. Returned to Baribebat noon. Went up Carro Otto in afternoon. Many bamboo clumps with numerous and big new shoots. See photos. Our clumps A1 and A2 did not. A1 has about 5 new shoots, now taller than some of the old ones. A2 has only about 3 tall new shoots, barely taller than the old ones. Other clumps nearby have lots of new shoots small taller, One of them has 2 shoots at least 16 ft tall and diameter of 35.4 and 27.5 mm (compare others measured last year), Nearly saw 2 green parrots on the ground under Bamboo/Lenga. Saw no bamboo blooming.
