April 30 Baribo. Day clear all day, light frost. Went out to
INTA in the morning. Fairies Bellota working on foxes, Sayo
Pilcaninger. Campo Anapo caught their first red bat
(culpalus) recently. Gray bat range seems to be
about same as Calompa. Rabbit (oryctolagus) had
advanced with to about aluminé. fulvetta was
just loch from BA, never + adrian also present,
at 2 pm drove to SeVeranade. The gorgeous
mire + lenga slow. 14 days ago are now mostly
brown. Set 8 Batibo trofa at open, gravel
holes in gravel at the horse ponds. No
Batibo droppings seen, lots of two diggings.
Heard orotuco alert 5 pm (Tue - m - tue).
Every calm, clear, cold,
May 1 Heavy frost. Calor, clear, nothing on trofa. Water
fying (outado) half frozen. Returned to Baribebat noon.
Went up Carro Otto in afternoon. Many bamboo clumps
with numerous and big new shoots. See photos. Our
clumps A1 and A2 did not. A1 has about 5 new shoots,
now taller than some of the old ones. A2 has only
about 3 tall new shoots, barely taller than the old
ones. Other clumps nearby have lots of new shoots
small taller, One of them has 2 shoots at least 16 ft
tall and diameter of 35.4 and 27.5 mm (compare others
measured last year),
Nearly saw 2 green parrots on the ground under
Bamboo/Lenga. Saw no bamboo blooming.
