it jumped suddenly straight up in the air and
bounded off 5 or 10 metres; no visible or audible
disturbance.
nov, 27-28 then E. Bernto Morno, north of RR tracks. Camped in
Chacay/Berlind/apos/bump thicket 150m west of former
camp, and across RR. 24 cage, hole, and steel traps caught
26 mice (also longi, andeas, oryq, chaloumpa, and Rathredon),
Afternoon sunny & warm, night clear, cool, light frost, moon
1 day part full. First Rathredon caught before dark (adult).
at 9:50 set out with NVGs in the green turf with scattered
buckwheat in the area near the brick pit. Saw one R. briefly
at 10:02 but he disappeared almost immediately. Then
picked up another at 10:04 and followed him
