Reunion 1985 Eurycnomy (cont) somewhat 50 to 100 m. apart. Other birds nearby were Abolongi, Oryz, Cholomy, also Pantho, and Elginodonta. no Reithrodon. Dec 6 a search for dropfumps and other evidence for presence of Eurycnomy in the Confluencia-Troful area, both sides of the Rio Troful, uncovered no evidence. Adrian Morijean brought in a mummy of a Eurycnomy found by Eduardo Rainolo on Nov. 27 300m from the North Peak of Cerro Banecho, which is in the empty triangle 18 km NW of Nahuel Huapi (the outlet of the lake). The altitude must be about 1640 m. Makes it sound like Eurycnomy is alpine. Dec. 11 91 traps on top of the impressive hill 5 km SE Est. Perito Moreno and checked at 11 pm and 6 a.m. caught 15 Eurycnomy, 12 also longi, 6 Cholomy!, 4 Arisco, and 1 also pantho. Much bare broken rock, some refugia, vegetation acacia, Baccharis, Polygonum, Mulinium, Senecio, Berberis, bunchgrass, and the
