71 nov.29 Baridos. Sunny, warm. nov.30 It occured to me sometime ago that change of Eunomys from most abundant (in Cueva Trafal) to rarest, would all make sense if it was an animal of open stoney areas such as the cigarra groves, some of the hilltops. Our single capture of Eunomys so far has been in stoney places at Corrallo. Some drove to San Ramon, stopping at a smifty cigarra stand at the first summit, part of it almost 1/20 cigarra and big bushes of palo pichi, lots of droppings of Rattlro and others; grass under the trees. Then we stopped at the second summit (between the Est. San Ramon entrance and Estacion Panto Mirador). Anita set trophs on the south side of the road (29 MS and 6 steel) and I set trophs on the north side (about 18 Sherman, 15 MS, 10 coagtrophs, and 7 steel trophs. She had cigarra, palo pichi, espinia negra, etc.; I had cigarra, notro, Berberis, etc., little espinia negra and little of any palo pichi. We both saw Rattlro droppings and another vegetable dropping similar to Rattlro; pole, best rounded at both ends. Lots of insects (especially) Rattlro) trophs & droppings on the way up to any point from there. Then at 9:30 p.m., we drove into Est. San Ramon and hunted Rattlros with the NVAs. Evening merry, somewhat hazy, moon came up about midnight. Picked up one Rattlro at dusk and followed him
