Pearson 1985 70 Vso.28 Rain trafoe dusk, midnight, and 8 a.m., Aunta's 14 trafoe, several of them set in pairs facing opposite direction in rummoy, caught 3 Reithro, 1 chelomy, 1 Audisiump, 10 also longi, and 7 Argygoumpa = 22 miles. Plus 3 spring-safety cage trafoe [we saw a big Reithro Dashlina may out of love]. My 10 trafoe caught 2 big Reithros and 2 also longi. Total 24 trafoe 26 miles. no also tantholhmin or Elapodonta. Tagged and released one of the Reithro, a big 9 with open woogra, left ear #302, clifed for on bar forbod. With NVGA from 9:50 pm to 11:40, with full moon from 10:40 on, saw 3 Reithros, two only briefly, and one we followed for 30 minutes. Then at 3:50 I went out again, clear, calm, cold, saw another briefly at 3:55, then followed another from 4:00 to 4:31, and another from 4:45 to 5:24. One or more others passed near this concealed place watching, hence a total of 7 or more individuals. The last one was still feeding when the morning bird chorus started. Saw a haro a couple of trees, no other mice! Light frost. After breakfast we retraced the route of the Ostrand river. See Reithro species account. Found a probable Caracola nest, a bulky twig nest in an almost-dead chacay tree, off about 15 ft.
