Checked in with Sr. Marful, owner of Estacion Sa Francesa, who let us camp along the stream (between the RR and the stream). This is maybe 200 m, downstream from our usual campsite listed as 2 km E Estacion Raitro Moreno. We swooped around for Raittro sign, then set traps, 12 cage traps and 2 steel traps, almost all in big runways (bare ring) at the edge of Raittro Berbina/Chacay clumps; lots of droffings. Set 4 hole traps and 3 steel traps and 2 cage traps, all at Raittro-like or runways. Horned owl calling long before dusk and frequently thereafter. A few Condors came in before dusk. Heard no barn owls, maybe a screaowl. Observed with NVGs until midnight; see Raittro species account. Moon slightly past full.
