Nov.24, San Pawan, morning clear, warm, my 18 Sherman
on Brooklyn E-spring slope, a few small Rosas
+ Berberis, caught 4 abdonants, 1 also longi,
3 audisco, my 4 solo trofs caught 1 also longi.
Antua's 13 cage trofs caught 1 big Rattler, 1 also
longi, 1 audisco.
The 50 to 70 Vultures (mostly black, a few Turkey)
that came in to roost in a couple of trees near camp
until almost dark left early and at least some
of them landed at the edge of the artificial lake.
The black vultures seem to have left the roost
earlier than the Turkey Vultures.
Found about 20 pearl pottato and a barn owl
feather at the base of the cliff east of camp. Heard
barn owl numerous times during the night.
Coward and his Australian wife visited us in
camp. A spotted wild cat catches her chickens.
He says cougars don't land near the rural buildings.
Then we visited with Arturo Pöllike on our way out.
They have planted a lot more cornflowers on the hill west
of our campsite but need rain for them. Both Coward
and Arturo complained of the extreme heat of the past
several days, 32°C yesterday.

Total coted: 1 Rattler, 4 abo shantha, 4 abo longi, 4 audisco,
1 chelempy. Below the cool roots were mummies of
