65 went up to Carr Otto bamboo in afternoon and took more light measurements, Sets of digging (.redoute) around the base of clumps in the open. Frederico Beehia and his father Juan Beehia, both Photographe, came to visit. Dandelion on Otto all gone to seed. nov.21 To Goo Goo with [illegible] Gallopin to measure bamboo, Sets of new shoots, a small slug on one of them but it had not eaten it. In afternoon to Carr Cathedral. Took along the May photo with the two pink bamboo shoots; they had grown a meter each since then x saw two colisee with big blue - lilies at that bamboo spot, have seen only a couple of other trees with blue bloss in the month we have been here creaming around.
