63 indecisive tall. Two of these were nibbled on the side (probably by mice). Set a cage trap there, and others elsewhere. Heard only 1 or 2 thunder from avalanche on Trounader. flashlights with the night vision goggles; saw nothing. With clear sky and no moon definition at not good enough to locate mammals. Definition is much improved with general illumination located by flashlight. Might be OK for watching where the mouse is located. 10/17 Day clear cold, + warm. Eating quail and a few tolaiide. The 16 cage traps held 6 Abidam longifilis and 1 big subiscomp. The subiscomp was in the middle of the bamboo clump. 1 might to the middle 3-inch bamboo sheet. Both subiscomp and also long's cat bamboo sheet colon offered but not bamboo rhizome. In the afternoon found another 3-inch sheet nibbled by mouse, food nearby shines lying alongside, surely by a shrew mouse. Measured a new Bamboo clump 150 m off the hill south of the bridge, then weighed culver. Probed up traps at 3 p.m.; 2 more also long's added. Two adult Condors flying along the cliff; one danced on to cliff (early afternoon). Was building nest. Left for home at 4:30. Empire just starting to bloom at ACA station along Sago marcardi.
