Little Lake, Calif.
July 30, 1933.
Spent the entire morning skinning
the bats and the pueragames gotten
yesterday. Donald Japp found a
very small rattlesnake in a willow
thicket just below camp. We gave
it the sun cure and found that
in ten minutes of strong sun light
it was dead and had stopped moving.
In the afternoon I got ready to
take my material out of the mountains.
Collected my traps, packed my animals
and the rest of my material so as
to make as early a start as possible
in the morning.
