checking station (7 mi. WSW along
main highway and 3 mi. on road
turning to the right). Mr. Brown

some 200 yds south west of
the ranger station. The
country might best be
described as a low rolling
granite area. Thin are no
angular granite talus slopes
are found about the General

meadow and stream thin is
a pure stand of this conifer,
while on the gentler slopes
above camp thin is a mixed
forest of lodge pole pine,
Yellow pine, Red Fir and
White pine. Soil - Coarse
light reddish brown sandy
loam. The darker colored
soil being found about
the meadow. Thin parent
