B. Richardson 118 34 General Account ly 29 Quaking Aspen Meadow 7500 ft. Co, California. Todays catch consisted of 1 Shrew, 1 Ground Squirrel, 1 Minotus and 2 White-footed Mice. The morning was spent in skinning. The early afternoon I spent searching for gophers south and below the meadow, with no results. Later in the afternoon found a Weasel feeding in the meadow. Was able to capture him for a specimen. This Weasel had gone through the neighbors that and down to the meadow looking for mice. Another Weasel had been previously claimed at dinner time in our camp. The weather today has been continually cloudy with thunder in the morning. Only slight rains.
