M.B. Richardson 107 934 General Account. July 21 Quaking Aspen Meadow, 7500ft. Eelake Co., California The catch today consists of 4 Chipmunks, 1 Shrew 1 Gopher, 1 Golden-mantled Ground Squirrel, 1 Peromyscus, 1 Woodland Warbler. 2 Fox Squirrels and 1 ?all bird. The morning was spent as usual shinning with the exception that I went down (4 mi) to see M. Hallwell to place an order for some grub. (A dog got into camp last night and took our meat and flour). I observed two deer along the road. Set 8 gopher traps in the meadow in the early afternoon and took a short hike up the stream looking for reptile and amphibian Found a Slender Salamander and 2 Yellow-legged Frog I reloaded about 75 shot gun shells and reset the two traps I had set out at the wood site south of
