Little Lake, Calif.
July 22, 1933.
Caught a Paromys in a trap
on the camp table near where
the previous Paromys had
been caught. A Microtus was caught
in one of
the small wooden traps set near
the bank of the little lake. There
was no evidence of runways but
the tall grass and willows offered
splendid protection. A pair
of California Yellow Warblers were
shot in the willows near camp.
The remainder of the day was
spent in skinning, cooking and
rebaiting the coyst traps.
