Richardsom 34 General Account. 85 entire lake, however there were numerous pairs of White- crowned Sparrows in the willow thicket. We found two young mice near Astro Lake as we left in the morning. A Chicken Squirrel was seen in the Lodge Pole pine before we left camp in the morning. The fishing in Moose Lake was excellent. I fished for about an hour and caught 3 fish 12"-15" in length. Most of the fish seemed of this size, I counted over 140 while fishing along one side of the lake. There were also numerous fingerling trout that were planted this season. The stomachs of the fish taken showed that there was an abundance of food material about! The weather was clear all day. From Moose Lake there appeared to be haze coming up the Middle Fork of the Kaweah.
