Little Lake, Calif. July 20, 1933 Went th round of my traps. A coyote fooled around one of the traps on the north side of Little Lake but he did not get caught. Caught a Buckey- tailed Woodrat 100 yds north of camp in the same pit that I had previously caught a S Woodrat. The S Woodrat showed signs of suckling young. No embryos. On th round of my traps I shot a f Temegea and a Chipping. Both were shot above the lake in the pine timber. While skinning in camp I shot a Chipping Sparrow which was feeding among the golden rod and other weeds in a small clearing.
