B.Richardson. 34 General Account. to Chagopa Plateau counted 83 lizards (Sceloporus) and on Rattle Snake. Conies were seen in the Big Army Arroyo from 9300 ft. Elevation up to camp. A large number 100-15 White Crowned Sparrow have been seen in the floor of the canyon especially at the higher banks 10800 or above. One old nest was observed in the low willows on the ground. A Golden-mouthed Brown Squirrel was seen in the canyon at 9200 ft elev. The weather today was similar to the previous days. Clear in the early morning, clouds came in by 10:00 A.M. and a brief hail storm in the afternoon, and clear by 7:00 P.M.
