Richardson. 62 34 General Account. a young American Margaret. There was no evidence as to the cause of its death but in its mouth was sand plus a small water insect. The weather today was like yesterday only more so. There were small wispy clouds in the south when we woke up and they began shifting towards the north followed by heavier dark clouds. The first rain came to us during lunch time which was really nothing more than a drizzle. The dark clouds continued to pile in during the remainder of the afternoon but no rain until about 4:00 PM when we had a brief large drop rain. The tourist population of the Grand Canyon has been very small. We have seen only two couples with one pack mule each and three packers with 7 head of stock going over to Independence
