General Account that had fallen during the night. This however quickly melted as the early morning sun came through the clouds. During the morning there was intermittent flurries of snow that melted as soon as it hit the ground. By noon the clouds had opened and sun came through. There was intermittent clouds and sun- shine untill about 4:00 P.M. when the clouds looked in heavy and a vigorous type of snow storm set in. This storm continued until about 7:30 P.M. at which time it had covered the ground and trees giving a very beautiful effect to the whole landscape. As near as I could estimate it there was about 1 1/2" of snow on the level.
