Richardson 34. General Account 15 Junction Meadow, Kern Canyon. Kern Co., Calif. 8100 ft. Caught three Peromyscus and a Microtus last night in the traps. One Peromyscus was caught in the rocks on the hill; it had larger ears than the one previously catched and is believed to Peromyscus truei? The morning was spent in putting up specimens. A little before 12:00 noon we started for a hike up by the trail towards the head of the Kern Kaweah River. We met Mr. & Mrs. Patterson, who have been camping at the meadow for the past day and night, about half way up on the shoulder and continued up to the fall with them. From there on we continued on along to the second lake up the river. The trail keeps on the south side of the Kern Kaweah River all the way,
