B. Richardson 34 General Account. 24 area west of the meadow there are large patches of Bracken fronds that are drying up from the lack of water, and the snow on the mountain is as scarce at present as is the case usually a month and a half late. The vegetation about S hyacinth Meadow is predominantly Lodge Pole Pine. The weather conditions are the worst we have found it up to date. This morning was sunny and fine but by noon it began clouding up and shortly after 4:06 P.M. it began to rain and is continuing as a steady drizzle. It will help the dry condition of the plants but it is still on us. Rain continued until about 7:00 P.M.
