S.B. Ruth 1469 Journal 4 May 3 vicinity Laguna dam Yuma turnoff 1 mi. E. Winterhaven and turn on Pizche Road. Both Leathers and Green were very helpful and easy to talk to. R.C.S. saw a white winged dove earlier this afternoon on Pizche Road. I saw one on Hwy 86 between El Centro and Brawley. The white wing band and the black primaries are very distinctive. Laguna dam people "look the other way" when people crawl over the fence at Laguna dam and maybe "100 per day" go out on weekends according to Mr Leathers. The fence was put up over a law suit regarding a boy who jumped to his death into a channel of the dam from a dam structure.
