Ruth 1969 Journal 4 May 2 Desert Trip Yuma - Berkeley spent the night off the Palm Desert - Hemmet Road after night driving some and not finding anything. we are in the car and ready to go get breakfast 7105 Am (May 3) Full moon tonight and windy. wind blowing even in down town Palm Springs. No wind here though. mileage at entrance to camp site is 938.1 the bridge which is right after the turnoff is 92215. stas. state 74 houses <--3.9 mi--> Hwy 111 2nd bridge along the road mileage at Junction Hwy 111 742.0 The Palm Desert Hemmet Road is State Hwy 74 we drove out to Garnet Dunes but it was much too windy and cold to catch any animals. we picked the Rhinocairus lecontei that we found DOR last night. It measured 261/2" S.O.
