S.B. Ruth 1970 Journal 8 Feb 107 Amphibian Collecting Trip Thus far we have not eaten at a "Dennys" this trip. We passed one last night (unknowingly) and did not go to it this morning (too hard to turn around). We stayed in a motel in Santa Cruz last night. 339.2 Sycamore Grove Camp, Hwy 9, Santa Cruz Co., Calif. 8:15- 8:45 AM collected around the camp. Lots of steelhead fishermen. RGS found all the good spots and found 14 Batrachoseps 5 Ensatina and 3 Anisodes inguabris. I got stunked Not as much litter to turn as in previous years. Sky is clear; the air is crisp. A varied thrush was heard calling from out of a bay- oak woodland. A high long note about one second long. 345.1 Felton
