J.D. naryn 1970 Journal 5 5 Feb 107 Amphibian collecting trip temps mild. Ate dinner at the "49'Er" in Mariposa. Drove back over Hwy 49 and spent the night at the "Mt River Motel" near the jct. of Hwy 49 and Hwy 120. Very depressing. They are building a bridge 240' tall here and this area will be flooded for future water for San Francisco. Probably if Hydromantes is here it won't be for long. We plan to look for it tomorrow. The lady in the cafe said that this would be under water in six months.
