w. edge of the sandy creosote
bush area on May 5 '78 that
separates this area from
agricultural land. Between
the two canals is a luxuriant
creosote bush growth with
many sand hammocks which
is very rich in lizards of
many kinds. This is the
same area where we got
Ctenonyx last night. In
this area today we caught
4 Phrynosoma mcalli and
1 Crotaphytus wislizenii
we observed but did not
try to capture Dipsaurus
dorsalis, Chlamydophorus tigris
Uma notata and Uta stansburiana.
