Hankew, James 1976 Atelopus sp. MVZ, Berkeley, Calif 22 April movements are independent and these moments of contact seen accidental W Kay James told me this morning of having heard a frog calling in the lab last Thursday or Friday (15th or 16th) but not being able to trace it to an individual animal. Presumably this was the Atelopus as there are no other frogs in the lab. Also, the frogs don't seem to mind much disturbance as there is usually people working in the lab all morning in and out during the day. The frog's container was cleaned yesterday and the frogs last fed yesterday afternoon.
